One of the two resident storks in Acebuche

In Malaga – the place is now overrun by Monk Parakeets

Gibraltar – lots of Black Redstarts

In Tangiers – visiting the Kasbah we got two Common Bulbuls and a House Bunting – a lifer for us.Around the town, Blackbirds are common, as are Spotless Starlings.

4.11.15. Back in Spain

Leaving Algeciras in our hire car, we spotted a whole colony (maybe 50) of Griffon Vultures, riding the thermals just 5 minutes out of town on the A381.

Around our apartment in Matalascañas, on the beach, Yellow Legged and Blackback Gulls, Sanderling.

Seeing both Common and Azure-Winged Magpies together in large numbers was interesting and a rare treat.
